Niche blogging an easy way to make money
What one might have noticed, is that it has become more and more difficult to earn money online with blogs or websites due to increased competition on most popular keywords.
Today, there is actually no point in spending all of your time on writing hundreds of articles and trying to get thousands of backlinks for only a few dollars. Why should you waste doing so much effort for nothing ? Ok maybe a few years ago there were still some opportunities, but today all of this is over and it’s getting really difficult to to get well positionned on Google.This is particularly true for the english market, where all popular sectors & topics are already covered by thousands of SEO competitive websites.
Nevertheless there is a solution in order to make a solid online income very easily and on a regular basis. The solution is called niche blogging. Niche blogging consists in writing about specific topics which are far less competitive, but still have a decent amount of traffic. A niche topic could be a topic about specific brand products. For example instead of writing about gardening, you could write about specific gardening tools. Basically these are the long tail keywords. Google Keyword tool can help you find these keywords.
If you want even less competition, you should write in other languages such as german or french. I have several websites on french niche topics. For example I have a website on Faux Ongles (Fake Nails) and a brand new one on Faux Cils (fake eyelashes). No worry if you don’t speak that language, you can either translate english content to french using translation tools, or better you can even pay a small amount to someone who will translate your text in the language you want. This is generally not expensive. For those interested, I can translate their english to french for a very cheap price if they include a backling to my niche websites.
Once your niche websites are online, that you have a few quality backlinks, you can easily appear on first page of google for many keywords. Then ad a few google adsense slots on your websites using the tips I gave you in my previous. After a few months, you will be earning a decent amount of money, and you’ll be gald to see that it’s that easy!

Improving your Adsense Click through rate
Many bloggers earn money through the well known Google Adsense program. Willing to increase their revenues rapidly, most of the bloggers tend to think about SEO and link building but tend to forget the basics.
If you have a decent amount of trafic, before trying to get more trafic and money through Google Adsense, you should analyse your website and see how you could improve your Adsense CTR and earnings.This step is actually quite easy and can considerably improve your Adsense click through rate.
The best solution in order to improve your Adsense click through rate, is to test different ad placements and different ad formats. For example you could put your Adsense underneath the title of your blog, or on the left menu of your website. Each website is different, so don’t think that what you read online is valid for your website. By doing a few tests on one of my website I managed to double my click through rate and my earnings from this site.
Another solution is to use a click heatmap software such as Clickheat on your website to see where people tend to click. Once you have found out where people click the most, simply put an Adsense unit ad. And guess what ? your adense CTR will considerably increase! It’s as easy as that.

Do you want to make money online ? I know how to, and I can help you! This is no BS, what I am offering is something real which I am going to explain right now. The idea came to me today while I was surfing on searchengineland.com.
As you know I can easily make money online with websites on niche markets. I actually make between €30 and €120 euros per month on some of my websites and regularly receive Google Adsense cheques. I will do part of the work, by finding niche markets for us. I will create my website on a particular niche market to show you how to optimize it for SEO (which keywords & best practices) and to show you what sort of template to use. For example, when I use a template like Zyoptix Laser eye surgery I can get a very high CTR. You will also therefore have some quality content in order to understand what the niche is about. Once this is done, I will submit the niche market to the people following me on my twitter account (DollarJames), so that they can start creating websites on that same niche. Together we will be able to create a network of websites on the same topic. We can do linking, which is good for SEO, we can exchange websites where we can get backlinks. All of this all together!
Doing this will enable our websites to become popular very quickly by being well ranked in Google. Furthermore, a buzz could be created around our websites and how much money we are making with them. And the more traffic we have the more money we will make as I will help you have a good CTR.

Make Money Online With A Simple Website
Make Money Online with a simple website ? Many of the top bloggers online tend to say and think that making money online with a website requires you to have a good looking design and some quality content. Even though having a nice looking website or blog does allow you to get decent traffic and money, it is not necessary in order to make money online.
A few weeks ago, the e-marketing B2B teacher from my e-business MBA course, showed us one of his websites (in french) which earns him about $200 a month with Google Adsense. He has accumulated around $10000 in 4 years. This is not huge, but considering the look of his website and the small efforts put into it, we can say that the ROI is really high.
His website, Veranda Conseils, is a simple HTML website with only a couple of pages. No background, no images, just plain text with Google Adsense. The question is how does he make money with such a website ? In fact he has been very intelligent, choosing his domain and keywords carefully where there was little competition in order to be ranked for many keywords on the first page of Google. In fact he has carefully optimized his website for search engines (SEO) and created just a few quality backlinks in order to get well ranked under Google. I will not talk about his SEO strategy today, but I invite you to come and visit my blog in the next few days as I will be analyzing his website in details and will be giving useful SEO tips.
Being a competitive person, I launched VerandaConseils.com in order to compete against his website. I am currently ranked 2nd just behind him for the keywords Veranda Conseils on the french Google search engine. I still need to work on optimizing my website for keywords such as prix veranda. I will keep you updated on wether I can beat him or not.

Adsense Revenue Update
Just wanted to inform update you about how I make money online, and how much I make. So basically, I make money by writing blogs about topics I know about. In the last two months, I safely received 2 cheques from Google. For september, I received a $213 cheque where as for october I received a $131 cheque. So which blog performed well?
The blogs that performed well were as usual “The Color Contacts” which made between $70 to $80 each month. My color contacts blog made between $15 and $25 in the month. Regarding my two eye laser blogs, Eye Laser Surgery & Lasix Surgery blog, the earnings were also around $20 each. My others blogs making the remaing dollars. As you may have noticed i have removed adsense from Dollar James for the moment.
If you have read recently my last articles, you may have noticed that I have launched several blogs in the last week in order to talk about topics I know about but also to analyse the impact of a domain name on the Google Ranking. I have therefore launched 3 blogs about handhelds pda & smartphones. They are Handhelds PDA which is hosted on DollarJames, PDA Handhelds & Handhelds Computers which are hosted on Blogger but have their own domain name. I have also launched an extra blog on eye laser surgery with a proper domain name in order to have a better visibility in Google and therefore to have more readers.
Regarding this month, my earnings will be again around $130, even though I hope that with the new blogs, it will increase to around $200 considering it is christmas also! As usual I will keep you updated in the next months!

Receiving money from Adsense
Beginning of Setpember i received yet again a letter from Google with a nice small Cheque in it of €81.5 which represents approximately $120. Even though the amount is rather small, it is still nice to receive a Cheque through the post!
End of July i started posting articles again on my blogs and used certain seo techniques to get more traffic and more importantly traffic which converts well. As a result i expect my next cheque to be around $200 which is basically a 66% increase in earnings? You see earnings can climb up quickly if you have the time to write articles and promote them. Meanwhile for the the cheque after this one, i expect ot have lower revenues as in August i did not post a lot of articles due to holidays (as you can see also on this blog the number of articles posted in August and September is rather low due to holidays).
Well thats about it folks, im about to be off to an e-business forum in Paris. Today i have a conference of 1h with Google about Adwords and how it can be useful and profitable to use their services!

How To Promote Your Niche Blog
Finding a niche blog is only one small part of the process of becoming succesful with your blog. Having a niche blog is good, but is useless unless you have traffic. Yes promoting your blog is the most essential part whether you are on a niche market or not. In this article i will explain my best technique which helps me promoting my blogs, getting traffic and increasing my revenues. This even works on brand new blogs, even though it is recommended to have a few articles on your blog before trying it.
So what is it then? Well in fact it is a lot more easy than you think. Previously, i talked about the Top 10 Link Building Techniques. In this article i talked about forum posting and the importance of having income links that are keyword relevant. Well just with this you can get a small amount of traffic, but which will convert very well. I launched recently in August a new niche blog, and am already making some small amount of money with it. In fact i making now the money i usually make with a blog but 3 months after it has been launched. In my case it worked in less than a week! Sometimes i wonder why i did not apply this method before. I also decided to use this method for my other blogs and guess what my traffic increased and as a consequence my adsense revenue also! If you are lucky to find niche markets with clicks around $2 then you will be amazingly suprised how this can be profitable!
Nevertheless what you need to know is that you must absolutely not spam your website on relevant forums. So what you have to do is find forums which are related to your niche blog topic, read messages that forum members have posted and when they ask a question, suggest an answer and offer to go and see your blog if they want more details. To be able to answer people, you will need to have some knowledge on the topic, so that is why it is recommended to launch blogs about topics you like and know things about. Do this on a daily basis, and you will se that traffic will come, that your adsense revenue will increase!

Google and Keyword Density
Yesterday, i was watching a documentary on television on a french channel. I was actually suprised to find out that they started talking about Google and keywords. During the interviews of the documentary, i heard some valuable information which i thought i would share with you as it related to my previous post on the software Internet Business Promoter.
During the documentary, they explained how Google worked, and went in details about the competition around keywords. The example they were showing, was about jewlery, so no any interest for me, but they showed how the competition for some keywords could vary considerably. What was interesting was when they started analysing a particular website, on the demand of someone who had taken legal action against them and a competitor. The website was for eye laser surgery (youhou i have a blog on that so this started to be interesting). In fact that website had dropped down in its ranking because a competitor was in a certain way spamming google, as on the bottom of the competitors website were a list of keywords such a lasik surgery, but with mispellings (Lesik surgey etc…). With this method, the competitor was getting a whole load of traffic that the other website was not. In fact even though this could be considered as legal, it is not, as it is basically profiting from breaches in the system to create a false ranking of your website. Google said that these sorts of attitudes could be severly punished as they do not tolerate this!
One very interesting part, was when they started talking about keyword density. The nice thing about this documentary is that the guy from Google actually said what was the keyword density % they accept! So you probably want to know how much it is? Well they said that 15% was the maximum they tolerated. The indicated that websites between 10% and 15% were often checked to make sure that the website was not misleading the search engine. The reason why i said this was related to one of my previous articles, was that the software Internet Business Promoter, gives you a complete report on the keyword density on your blog, and compares it to competition so that your website is totally optimized. Niche Blogging Tip
While surfing on Digital Point forum, i fell on another useful tip on niche blogging, so i thought i would share with you. In my previous post i talked about using tools such as Keyword Country or Google Keyword Tool. I have just found another way to find your niche.
Its a very simple and effective method which can be used in a complementary way with the tools mentioned above and in my previous article. So what you have to do is simply use the Google Suggest Lab search page and not the usual Google search page. The Suggest Lab page will give keyword ideas. Below i have put a screenshot of it, entering “color contacts“.
On this screenshot you can see that a list of keywords appear. The first good point with this is that it gives you good ideas for keywords. The second good point is that the results are apparentely classified by amount of searches! This is actually extremely good, as they show you the number of results but also tell you those which ones have the most searches! This simplifies everything as it allows you to know which keywords have a potential and not a lot of competition!
This tool confirms why my Color Contacts blog is working. Very little competition (results) and i talk about the keywords mentionned above (color contacts acuvue, freshlook and guide)! Also i wanted to tell you that based on my experience, for a niche you need to have less than 800,000 results under Google. I would recommend around 500,000 results is ok, there will not be too much competition! So have fun with this tip and keep me informed of any nice niches found or blogs launched!

Make Money Online with Niche Blogging
If you want to earn some regular money by blogging, then niche marketing is for you. Niche marketing consists in finding niche markets (topics), where there are many searches but very few results in search engines. Basically this means finding a topic where there is not a lot of competition, but people want information on it. Finding a niche market is not so difficult. In order to find a niche market, you should use tools such a Keyword Country or Google keyword tool. With them you will be able to find niche topics. To check that information is accurate i recommend doing a search under google and checking that number of results are inferior to 1,000,000. One of my niches has less than 700,000 results under Google which is good.
Nevertheless finding a niche market does not necessarely mean that you will make money easily. To have a successful blog on your niche topic, you will first of all have to post regularly. This is why it is important to find a topic where you have some knowledge and which interests you as if you dont then motivation for writting articles will dissapear. When i talk about posting regularly i mean you must post around 1 article every 2 to 3 days at least a the beginning during the first few months. Furtheremore, you will have to create backlinks to your blogs by posting comment on dofollow topic related blog articles in order to increase your visibility and ranking in search engines. Only after several months (generally 6 month to a year) will you see results with vistors and adsense revenues increasing. Please also note that when choosing your niche market it is recommend to choose a niche about a product or certain types of products (for example i have a blog on color contacts). When it is about products rather than general information people are often searching for information for their purchase. As they are in a purchase mood they will be more chances seeing them click on one of your ads.
Thats about it, even with a free blogger blog you can make money online! Dont forget to ping various websites to inform them that your blog has been updated. Also and this is my recommendation, choose a topic which interests you or will fail to post regularly. Do not forget that someone is reading your blog, and that if you do not write quality information, then people wont come back and read your blog which will therefore have a bad reputation!
