I am proud to announce that even though my blogs are still rather new and unknow, i am present in Paula’s list of blogger salaries. I am ranked 60, even though you must consider that my earnings are low and many bloggers earn a lot more than i do, so 60 is not representative of my earnings, but the ranking is nice as it allows you to have an idea how much some types of blog/bloggers can earn. To be true i earn more than what is written, but this is because Paula’s list cannot be updated all the time. My revenues should be $600 instead of $479!
The second part of this article will be about an article from notsoboringlife.com which compares blog earnings to alexa ranking. The conclusion from his article is that blog earnings are closely related to traffic (visitors) and therefore to alexa ranking. Yet again my blog is named on this website and am very prowd of it 
Everyone would like to know how to make money while blogging. Is it easy? how much can i make? What do i have to do? So many questions … and so many answers! … but no revenues come in! What the hell is happening? Why cant you make money?
Well i think there is no perfect solution on how to make money while blogging. I mean it is not only using pre-made google adsense blogs, doing seo, finding good keywords or even writting interesting posts! It is also about being there at the right moment with the right idea so that people will come and read your blog! Think about all the factors that need to be taken into consideration? Readers from the US will surely read your blog either at lunch if they have time or in the evening, so maybe posting in the evening in order to be in the latest blog post of websites such as digg.com is a good idea ? well probably, but it wont be enough! Being successful is an accumulation of bright ideas and techniques that allow your blog to become successful!

Being a Poker fan, even though i am a beginner, i have started paying regularly poker online. Why ? Well simply to earn money. You will surely ask is this true or is it bullshit?
Well the answer for me is yes, its true! I play on

The project i am developing with my partners is advancing quickly. Main fuctionalities of the website are already online and working. Nevertheless there are still many small little jobs to do and to improve.
We have been working on the design lately, and hvae come up with several ones. The first one below will be our main design. The two others we simply test designs that we did not like so much. We have tried to make the design simple, but keeping a profesionnal and classy design to it. Also the logo clearlys gives the user an idea of what the site is about!

Another good point about John’s blog, is that he updates it daily. He actually spends 2 hours a day for his blog. You might think that at this rythm, the quality of his posts will decrease, but with John, all posts are always outstanding. No wonder his blog is so successful!
The best thing about John’s blog is that he has been able to create a huge interactive community around his blog. Simply look at the number of RSS feedburn readers he has, its over 2000! This is really oustanding considering he has no fix topic for his blog. The key to is success is to have created a platform which is well designed and uses many wordpress widgets in order to make it user friendy. The concept is easy, readers leave comments on his blog and this creates a debate around his articles and posts. John also uses RSS feeds, and uses social bookmarking websites such as del.icio.us in order to keep all of his readers upated with his latest articles. Basically a web 2.0 blog!
The only negative points i could find about John’s blog is that he tends to talk slightly too much about how to make money and his personal earnings. Indeed John uses various methods in order to earn money through his blog. He uses contextual ads such as Google Adsense, but has also many affiliate program links. One of his earnings methods i like comes from the ReviewMe website, where people pay John to do a review of their blog. He actually makes above $3000 a month with it. All of this means that John has many ads and affiliates links on his blog, but we forgive him for this as they are well placed and do not disturb our reading. Another reason why we accept John putting ads on his site, is that money earned from it is given to charity organisations! This is very generous from John and we much appreciate his attitude.
To conclude, JohnChow’s blog is for me a reference in terms of blogging, and every one should take example on him! Well done John!
John Chow and Darren Rowse, two well known internet bloggers fallen in love with each other! You must think i am kidding, but am i really?
First of all let me present John Chow and Darren Rowse. John is the owner of one of the most visited blogs on the net: Johnchow.com ! He is also the creator of one of the largest hardware tech sites on the net, The TechZone. Darren Rowse is a 34 year old Australian living in Melbourne. He is the owner of Problogger.net ! Problogger.net is probably the best online blog resource on how to create a successful blog. You will find everything from the beginning to SEO or even Google Adsense. All in all a real blog bible!
I am a regular reader of both of these blogs. Today while reading an article on John Chow’s blog I fell on a Google ad with the following text: “John Chow Loves Me, find out why John Chow loves Darren Rowse” with a link to Problogger. You can see a screenshot of it below.
In order for such an ad to be displayed by Google, it means that Darren Rowse has actually paid Google Adwords to have this message and link displayed! Isn’t this crazy? So you may wonder why Darren Rowse paid Google for such an ad ? Is John Chow really in love with him? Have both of them been hiding us some “hot topics” ? The answer is clearly NO! Then why was such an ad created and paid to be displayed. Well in my point this is just an amazing brilliant marketing idea from Darren Rowse to get more traffic to his blog. Creating links as this ad between two blogs that are visited by thousands of people every day is such a good opportunity to get more traffic to their blogs and increase their popularity. Furthermore, an ad such as this one with humor is just so brilliant! I mean every regular reader of John Chow’s blog or Problogger will have to click on it in order to know what this love story is all about!
Darren Rowse and John Chow are clearly two blog and advertising geniuses! This is clearly one of the reasons why both of their blogs have been so successfull! They have managed to include regular quality content posts and create a real community around their blogs using various outstanding techniques and strategies! Well done to both of you!

The programmers with whom we are working are making great progress with the work we have asked them. Our website has already many interesting features. Nevertheless we still need to work on it, add some new features, and continue working on incomplete pages.
The two major parts we have left are the administration section and especially the design of the website. We definitely need something more professional! For the moment design is simple and looks home made. This does not correspond to our positionning. Therefore we will have to work on key elements such as logo, overall design/colors and all the small icons. Basically there is a lot of work to do with it!
We are hesitating between using an excellent designer we know from Ukraine, or our actual programmers. We are not too sure of the quality of our developpers in designing. We have asked them to send us a portfolio of website designs they have made. On the other hand, our developpers are less expensive than the designer we know and know well our website as they are developping it. Choice is difficult, we are thinking about it. I will keep you updated.

One main issue for Bloggers is about how getting traffic! The tips I will be giving are based on my current experience.
-Â Good Content: Write interesting articles and write them regularly. The more useful and interesting your article is, the more people will find it interesting, and therefore the more traffic you will have.
- Digg.com:Â Register on Digg and submit your articles there. I did this at the beginning and my traffic climbed up from 10 unique visitors daily to 60 ! So imagine when your blog starts getting well known, digg can bring you huge topics.
- Tools: Use web 2.0 tools such as RSS feeds like Feedburner!
- Finds blog partners to link to your blog! This will get you traffic. Try getting help from a well visited blog, this will surely help you het some traffic.
- Get referenced on blog directories. This is always good once you start getting known.
I hope these few tips will help you get more traffic to your blog. I am trying to do my best to get traffic, but i know traffic will comme on the long term. I just need to be patient !
