Blog Traffic
One main issue for Bloggers is about how getting traffic! The tips I will be giving are based on my current experience.
-Â Good Content: Write interesting articles and write them regularly. The more useful and interesting your article is, the more people will find it interesting, and therefore the more traffic you will have.
- Digg.com:Â Register on Digg and submit your articles there. I did this at the beginning and my traffic climbed up from 10 unique visitors daily to 60 ! So imagine when your blog starts getting well known, digg can bring you huge topics.
- Tools: Use web 2.0 tools such as RSS feeds like Feedburner!
- Finds blog partners to link to your blog! This will get you traffic. Try getting help from a well visited blog, this will surely help you het some traffic.
- Get referenced on blog directories. This is always good once you start getting known.
I hope these few tips will help you get more traffic to your blog. I am trying to do my best to get traffic, but i know traffic will comme on the long term. I just need to be patient !
Project Launch
We have decided to work with my partner Adrien on our new project. This project had been started last year in January 2006, but had to be stopped due to legal issues.
We are now working hard on it, in order to create the best platform for users. We know our website will be a success within students. Nevertheless our main issue is how we are going to generate money!
Well it is rather simple, we will have huge traffic, so we will have small advertising on our website. Otherwise our hope is to become so big to get bought by an existing company! You may say wow you are crazy, but when you have the right idea at the right moment well success can come quickly !
The target of our project is mainly students/teenagers, and we should not have any difficulties regarding communication, it will work on its own! Doesn’t this look great ? Unforunately we cannot talk about it yet as when you have a bright idea, better keep it for you !Â
Pavinvest
Pavinvest.com is an investment opportunity that was launched in September 2005 and is online since October 2006.
As most of you must know, there are many investment opportunities online offering high returns, but unfortunately most of them are scams! Only few of them are real registered companies and really generate profit from the money you invest with them. Pavinvest seems to be one of these real companies !
They are a registered company under the name Pav Invest B.C. LLC in the state of Ohio (US). This information was checked when contacting Ohio authorities that confirmed me that they correctly existed. Furthermore when contacting the company i was rather impressed as they provided me with incorporation documents, tax bill, and Vice CEO id copy!
There address seems real as i found it under the yellow pages and they have a valid telephone number with correct area code. I am in contact with people living close to their office, and i am hoping that they will get in contact with the company by visiting them.
Pavinvest claims to trade in two markets : Real Estate and Commodities. On their website is written “Pavinvest was opened in order to profit of the sharp increase in Oil, Gold, Copper and Real estate prices.”. Not being very satisfied with this basic information, i contacted them by phone and email, and they explained to me some of their trading techniques. I must admit i was rather impressed.
The interest rates they offer is 2%-3% daily but only during business days. The minimum deposit is $50 and for deposits over $10k a contract needs to be signed.
Little advertising and promotion has been done by Pavinvest, which might be good news as they do not seem to rely on massive advertising like mosts scams online. Their 7% referral commission seems to be suffisiant to allow the online company to develop. Another few positives points are domain and dedicated hosting that are apparantly registered until 2010!
I have been in Pavinvest for over a month now and have been paid every day. I have seen no complaints yet for this program and every member seems satisfied by it.
This will definitely become a huge one during the year ! So keep an eye on it !
UK Storm
Today was an awfull day for many people in Europe, with a heavy storm that struck us. Wind was blowing hard up to 70 mph (over 110 kmh) near London. I live in the suburbs of London close to Heathrow airport, and we had a major power cut all afternoon ! From 2pm to 7pm we had no electricity, therefore we were all walking around the university in the dark!
At 5pm we were told to evacuate our hall of residence as it was dangerous to stay there as there was no day light anymore. We were told to go to the student union in order to find a shelter !! Yes a shelter !! Luckily they offered us free sandwiches to eat, thats the best part ! I took about 5 of them in order to have a stock at home.
Finally all came back into order at 7pm ! But meanwhile i have just waisted a whole day doing nothing !
French Stock Exchange
I correctly received my Fortuneo (broker) codes last week, and have bought some shares. I had €1000 to invest, and i bought with this money shares from XRT and Rue du commerce (online computer shop).
I chose rue du commerce, as they will be annoucing shortly (Jan 23rd) their last semestrial results which should be rather good. I have hopes in this one climbing up on the short term.
My other shares are Xrt which offers management software solutions. Several well known analysts have said that Xrt might have an excellent potential this year. This one is slightly more risky but worth it i think.
I will keep you updated with my results ! Fingers crossed !
John Chow hacked !
Some of you may have noticed that well known blog John Chow was hacked today by a Turkish guy. It seems that John is not the only person to have been hacked as Stephen Fung’s website was also hacked. Maybe a wordpress exploit, or plugin exploit ? In all cases please be careful and update your wordpress version to the latest one. I will be doing so in the next few days.
I am also about to launch a new blog which will be using plugins linked to Facebook ! I will keep you informed. I am leaving tomorrow (thursday) for Prague and i am coming back on sunday. See you later !
Fortuneo : French Stock Exchange
After having sent required document to the well known french stock exchanger broker Fortuneo, i have received by post part of my access codes. My password will be sent to me shortly and i will be able to invest in a few days ! I am getting really excited as i have already been virtualy practicing stock trading for a certain time and have always made profit.
With my virtual portfolio i have been trading french shares but also a couple of US shares. An example is “Google” that i bought in January 2005 (2 years ago) and which has done 151% ! Another of my US successful virtual shares was “Computer Programs & Sys Inc” which has made 46% in 2 years. My best french order was “Suez” which has made 80% since February 2005.
Unfortunately all of this is virtual, so all profit made is in fact nothing. But i am really enthusiastic about investing real money with Fortuneo in order to make real profit. Many of my friends have told me that playing with real money is not as easy as when you play virtualy. Many of them started trading last year, and made profit quickly but then taking too many risks, lost most of their profit!
I have €1000 to start with which is in my opinion the very strict minimum to start with, but i do not have more to invest so i will have to do with that amount ! I will be carefully analyzing which shares to buy, and will keep you updated about my portfolio and my results ! Yet again wish me luck ! I would be very grateful for those willing to do a donation to me top help me in my quest !

I was surfing on the net as usual today when i fell on to Agloco.com. Do you remember All Advantage ? The ad bar where you were paid to surf with it ? All advantage grew up to 10 million members in less than 2 years, and was paying members until it unfortunately ended with the dot com crash ! Well Agloco.com is the new program from the All advantage founders ! It is actually in prelaunch but is already growing at an incredible speed and you can already start signing up and finding referrals !
Agloco is known as a Global community and is totally free. The view bar even though it is not yet available is very well designed and seems to be a lot smaller than any other existing ones !
