Interestingly, there are many such robots popping out. Wow.. the GPS and video cameras alone would have cost a bomb! Any idea how much it is retailing for, and if it is well, available for the public? Sadly, it never snows in Singapore though. ![]()

Who is Yuki-taro and what does he do? Yuki-taro is an autonomous snowplow robot that cleans up snow for you. He is equiped with loads of GPS and video cameras to make his way around and do his cleaning job!
Is that all he can do? No not at all! Yuki-taro does not push snow around, he eats it! yum yum ! After eating the snow, he turns it into compressed blocks that can be used for alternate sources of cooling and refregiration! What a brilliant idea to cool things down especially when its already freezing outside!

Apparantly Yuki-taro should be commercially available in five years at a price of less than $8,300 (1 million yen). So basically it is expensive! I guess maybe in 10 years price will reduce …
